Career

Lisa’s first step in her career was to become a meteorologist in 2016 for Lakeshore News and Wyin Public Television. In the same year she became director of the TV station of the Valparaiso University.

She was also the head of Torch Meteorology, her university newspaper. She is president of the Northwest Indiana chapter of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.

For several years she also worked in California and West Texas. Lisa was first introduced to the WCCO audience where she was presented as a person with tremendous weather knowledge, which is true.
